The Everywhere Dataset
Have you ever thought about how people around the world view your country, your language, your culture, and.. yourself? We all learn about each other through social media and tv, but how much of that really reflects you?
This is an important question because, these days, people who don’t speak your language, don’t know your culture, and have never been to your country, create the technology you use everyday. And that’s actually quite dangerous!
In my personal project The Everywhere Dataset, I collect pictures of the same things from people in a wide variety of locations. With these pictures, I hope to encourage the people who create your technology to understand your world better.
Follow the project’s Instagram page or visit the dataset.
